Call Your Mother

QSR

The inspiration for the “Jew-ish” deli Call Your Mother originated from the client's desire for the space to be where "Boca meets Brooklyn". The design team achieved this by incorporating a roughness to the design such as salvaging parts of the existing tile on the walls and using rough plywood to build the millwork. Pops of teal and pink throughout bring the "Boca" into the project. Using found furniture is intended to remind you of the pieces that you would find at your mother's house, as a nod to the name, Call Your Mother. The secondary goal of the project was to highlight the feature element of the menu: bagels. To do this the design we kept the kitchen as open as possible to allow customers to see how the bagels are made.
