Convivial
The brainchild of Cedric Maupillier & Saied Azali, Convivial was designed from the beginning to become a neighborhood gathering spot. Warm Scandinavian-inspired finishes, generous seating, and large luminescent windows come together to create an immediate sense of intimacy and hospitality. Decorative felt walls and sound-dampening ceilings simultaneously bring texture to the space and control noise throughout. Finally, to ensure guests never feel crowded, the main dining rooms are divided in two by a central bar with an extensive program crafted by some of DC’s finest bartenders.
